The Resource Room:
IRC has a library that contains books, references and video films on IRC
activities reflecting the cooperation and technical coordination with
other various national and international organizations.
The total number of the references available at the resource room,
excluding the videos and periodicals; is 2482 Arabic references and 500
English references. Those references are of various subject matters such
as Statistics, Social Studies and Human Rights in relation to children,
youth and elderly.
References on CHILDREN issues consist of topics such as CRC conventions,
child labor, child abuse, the state of world's children, disabled
children and children in difficult circumstances.
As for the references on WOMEN, they contain information on gender,
abuse, education, employment, state of the women in Jordan and the
world, women empowerment and development.
Other references on FAMILY concentrating on major issues such as health,
violence, statistics, development, laws and legislations are also
available.
STATISTICS on issues such as population, labor, workers, health and
education received from Department of Statistics (DOS) are also
available at the resource room.

regional organizations as follows:

IRC resource room encompasses a Press Database which contains articles
published in the official newspapers in the period between 2000-2003,
compatible with the IRC objectives and related to the efforts made by
various NGOs and GOs to improve the Jordanians social environment.
All materials available at the IRC resource room are classified into
digitized index according to the fields: Author, Title, Subjects, Year,
or Organizations which facilitate and ease the search process.
Beneficiaries:
The resource room can be considered as a
reference to researchers, students of Social Development who can visit
the resource room and get the information and statistics required to
their research studies.
