IRC’s Goals and Objectives:

• To act as a focal point for any needed research, data and information related to children, youth and elderly, thus reflecting a comprehensive image presenting the state of development of the Jordanian community.

• To gain the Jordanian community’s confidence as a centre of quality research, programs and experimental projects aiming at ensuring the rights and needs of all the strata of the Jordanian population (children, youth, adults, and elderly).

• Enhance the role of research in policy design, national plans and decision-making.

• Improve the quality of data and information used by researchers, program managers, policy designers, decision makers and service providers.

• Encourage and train on Research Methodologies and Ethics.

• Build-up mechanisms and techniques that guarantee a system of collaboration and co-partnership among all partners working in the human development field, thus entailing the designing of a relevant plan of dissemination, to widen IRC’s circle of partners.

• Maintain IRC’s close relation with governmental, non-governmental and international organizations to ensure an ongoing process of cooperation and coordination.

• Making forward steps towards publishing IRC’s research work and studies in accredited Arab and international research journals and periodicals.

• Publishing IRC's Research Periodicals.
