   Objectives:

• To become familiar with the various topics which commercials in Jordan had concentrated on.
• To learn about the mechanisms and techniques used to design commercials in Jordan between 1985- 2002.
• To identify the values introduced through the Jordanian T.V commercials and published both at Al Rai newspaper between 1985 – 2002 .
• To identify the reference and the philosophy of the values presented in the commercials.
• To reveal the principles and basis on which the media and advertisements' representatives rely on for designing the Commercials in Jordan.
• To be aware of how much the documented principles are applied to reality.
• To form a committee consisting of experts in the field of advertising and media to oversee, follow up and evaluate any advertising activities.

The Database Resources:
All commercials published in Al Rai newspaper between 1985 – 2002, in addition to the commercials transmitted on Jordan T.V between March 1, 2002 – July 30, 2002 are available on microfilms at the University of Jordan.
